Phoenix Weightlifting Club is a non-profit sporting club established in 2003 to promote and teach Olympic-style weightlifting. The club's coaching panel includes Olympic, Commonwealth and world championships medallists with over forty years' involvement in the sport.

While Phoenix Weightlifting Club members have won medals at all Victorian and Australian Championships since the club's inception, the club's aim is personal development, not solely the pursuit of medals. It caters for participants across all age groups and competitive levels.
